Tennessee Candle Company-Rough and Tumble artisan soap:

This is our newest soap called, “Rough and Tumble”, scented with earthy red woods and moss, and with slightly smoky Baraka Shea Butter “African Black Soap Crumbles” sprinkled in, with shea butter being their main component. African Black Crumbles, as they are widely known as, get their name because it’s made from the ash of locally-harvested African plants, which give it a dark color. Traditionally, plantain skins, cocoa pods, shea husk, and other plant materials are sun-dried and roasted in a clay oven. The charred material is mixed with local oils like palm, coconut, and shea butter to saponify into soap crumbles. African black soap originated in Nigeria, but these crumbles originated in Ghana, from all-female soap-makers using recipes passed down for generations. We have added madder root powder as well, for light exfoliation and color.
I hope you give this soap a try and let me know what you think. It is currently what I am using and I love it🤎
